Haiti Disaster Relief

To help the people of Haiti, UMCOR has asked us to provide Health Kits. UMW will pay for shipping the kits to the Sager Brown Depot in Louisiana. Here is the list of NEW items that UMCOR would like to have in each kit. PLEASE DO NOT ADD THINGS, KEEP TO THE LIST. UMW will be collecting completed kits in the Parlor on Sundays through Feb 21. UMCOR would like individuals or groups to donate the following items in a sealed, one-gallon plastic bag.

 

1 hand towel (15"x25" up to 17"x27") no kitchen towels

1 washcloth

1 regular sized comb

1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or toenail clippers)

1 bath sized bar of soap (3 oz and up)

1 toothbrush (single brushes only in original package,no children’s sizes)

6 adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages

$1.00 for toothpaste (already bought in bulk)

$1.00 for shipment from Sager Brown Depot in Louisiana to Haiti
